Why Italy:
Italy is a leading growth sector for US exporters in advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, cybersecurity, information communications technology, medical devices, and natural energy. Delaware small businesses now have a unique opportunity to make connections there because our former Delaware Governor Jack Markell serves as the US Ambassador to Italy!
Italy may be a small country geographically, but the nation dominates in terms of world influence and trade. According to the International Trade Administration, Italy is the 8th largest international market globally (and the third-largest in the European Union). In 2022, there was $117 Billion of trade between Italy and the US.
